An V-Global Communications Long Distance Dialer is required for every phone that needs access to the V-Global Communications Long Distance service.

If you have several Dialers using the same telephone number they will all share the same account and rate plan.
If you make a local toll call or any other long distance call, you will hear your current account balance prior to the call being connected.
You will not hear that message if you make a local (free) call or if the Dialer or the V-Global Communications network is not working properly.
Three-way calling is not available on V-Global Communications Long Distance service at this time.
Our service only works if you retain your local phone company service.
However, you have two choices for your current long distance provider: 1) cancel the service or 2) keep your existing service as a back up, but change your rate plan so that you are not charged with a monthly plan service fee and will only be charged on a "per call" basis if ever needed.
Most customers just cancel their existing service. You will need to contact your current long distance provider to make any changes. We are not able to do this for you.

Telephone service in the U.S. is generally offered with three different pricing zones:
- Local Service - Usually a flat rate for unlimited calling within about a 12 mile radius
- Local Toll - The calls that are made within your telephone company's service area, but are outside of the Local Service area.
These calls are sometimes referred to as Local Long Distance or Intra-LATA calls, they are charged by the minute and they can be very expensive.
These charges show up on your local phone bill and are not carried by your long distance carrier of choice.
- Long Distance - All other calls not designated as Local Service or Local Toll calls.
These can include in-state, state-to-state and international calls.
V-Global Communications low cost service will automatically replace all expensive Local Toll and Long Distance calls all day, every day.
